Straight answers from people who pour floors. Epoxy chemistry, prep, flake selection, KC pickup, returns, the whole stack.
Coating systems
Epoxy or polyurea for my garage floor?
Epoxy is the workhorse basecoat: 100% solids, durable, sticks to concrete like concrete. Polyurea / polyaspartic topcoats add UV stability and hot-tire resistance. Most installs use both: epoxy below, polyaspartic above.
How long does a system last?
A properly prepped epoxy + polyaspartic system holds up 15-20+ years in residential use, 5-10 years in heavy commercial. Prep is the variable. If the slab is acid-etched or shotblasted, you get the full life.
Can I do my own garage floor?
Yes. Our kits ship with everything: product, application tools, prep materials, and step-by-step instructions. Most one-car garages take a single weekend. We answer the phone if you get stuck.
Pricing & ordering
Why is your pricing so much lower than my distributor?
Because we are the distributor. We buy direct from the manufacturer and ship direct to you. No middle layer, no markup. The product is identical.
Do you have wholesale pricing for installers?
Yes. We have multiple wholesale tiers based on volume. Apply via /wholesale-ordering/ and we approve most accounts within 24 hours.
What is the KC Tier?
KC Tier is our local-pickup wholesale band for Kansas City installers and serious DIY-ers. Pricing is 15-30% below retail, and you pick up from our warehouse, free.
Shipping
When does my order ship?
Most orders ship the next business day. Larger pallets (10+ gallons) may ship via LTL, which adds 1-2 days. You get tracking the moment it leaves.
